Message: <blockquote data-quote="wod" data-source="post: 584483" data-attributes="member: 194411">with a new card what you can do is connect the telephone line and then go into the install menu and do a new installation, this will pair a new card to a receiver and send the box details serial number and card number to sky. this worked fine for me when i bought a sky hd receiver from ebay and a multiroom card i received from sky without any issue. setanta needs the card to be registered on skys system or the channels wont be added to the card.what you could do is perform a forced software download on the receiver by holding the backup button on the front of receiver while plugging into the mains, you should get a message on the screen to say software download maybe this might fix it ?</blockquote>
