Hello folks
First of all let me say, what a great site!

I am completely new to the world of satellite reception via PC, and what I am wanting to do is setup my PC to be able to view Sky channels using my existing subscription card, as well as FTA/FTV HD channels such as BBC HD.

What equipment would I need to acquire to be able to recieve these channels?

I'm sure that this information is listed somewhere on this site, but I have been unable to find it, or have been unable to decpiher what exactly the equipment is!

Many thanks in advance guys

Llew

My Satellite Setup
Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Here's what I use -

A Skystar HD2 PCI card + CI Module

Dragon CAM (programmed with a Duolabs CAS Interface - Mine's a CAS2+, but you might consider the later CAS3.)

A feed running to the PCI card from your existing dish (if you have a spare LNB port).

A decent spec. PC for the HD channels.
