Newbie - Visionlink Satellite Eye Help Plz

My Satellite Setup
Sky Digital with Panasonic Digibox. Laptop PC.
My Location
Orkenu, Scotish Highlands
I've bough the visionlink satellite eye for a second TV. I have the signal working to the second TV, through the RF-1/2 output, but the remote control will not work the box from the second TV. Have i dont anything wrong, or is the type of cable etc wrong? Once again, i have a picture on the second TV, but the remote contol will only work direct to the digibox, not from the "magic eye".

Sky Digital, UK, Panasonic digibox if that helps.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Is it a single run of cable with good connections on either end and is the light on?

You need to have turned on the 9volts in the RF Output menu, have you done this?

hi, i turned on RF output and also the LED was on. I think its just bad cable as i couldnt get it to work. To top it all off, i twisted the cable from the link to the tv and it broke so thats £5 down the drain :(
