I have modded one for Band D and after a bit of careful scalar feed matching to my Gibby 1.2 found it to be a better performer than the stock Inverto Ka/Ku unit that is also being used.  I did try a wr42  90°angle transition coming off the Gilat so as to make the whole unit more suitable to be made motorised for H/V use but the matching was poor and performance suffered.</blockquote>
