NOKIA MEDIAMASTER 9860s PROBLEM

My Satellite Setup
satellite tracker
pls kindly save me out of this danger.i was was watching fta channel with my nokia stb and when i changed the channel using my remote all i saw was that the stb powered off and on again by itself,and on my tv screen nothing can be seen again,i try to use my remote to power it off but the remote refuse to work on stb even the button on the stb cannot work,but on the front pannel of the stb some numbers are displaying nonstop,unless you unplug it from the main eletricity power supply,these are the numbers that displays non stop on the front pannel.

Hi ishusary,
What kind of software are you looking for?
Is your receiver working and you can watch FTA channels with it or not?
If you have the original firmware, then let us know which version.
Nokia stopped supporting MediaMaster line few years back and hopefully you have backed up your original firmware software on your PC.

If I am not mistaken, this is a model that was popular in the Middle East, not Europe.
Nokia stopped supporting this receiver model many years ago.
You should look for the original firmware/software and flash your receiver with it.
Try contacting Nokia and ask for this software, if you can't find it at all.
Also try to find someone in your location who might have this receiver and request from him to give you a backup.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Near Pontop Pike, Co. Durham
Those numbers on the front panel (even though this thread's pretty old!!!) are the firmware, Software and model numbers scrolling on the display (I.E. d200 - NE1.2 - 9860S), if I remember correctly, this box is similar to the 9800S, so you might be lucky and the 9800S software might work, but there's no guarantee of this... :)

But as always, google is your friend... :)
