Nova Sport to go HD

By Chris Dziadul | January 11, 2009 | 14:41 UK

The Czech channel Nova Sport is to launch in HD.

According to Parabola, quoting an interview with Michal Klouda, a director of the channel, in the local press, the likely launch date of the service is February 2, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the debut of TV Nova, the Czech Republic’s most popular broadcaster.

Nova Sport, until late last year known as Galaxie Sport, was itself launched in 2002.

Listed on three sats and three packages/provs.

To get this with a legit card, is it a Galaxie Sport Card on 19e?

I hear they are £70 to buy direct from the site.

Anyone got any info?

Main family package is 689 a month czech korunas ( aprox. £23.00 ) for that you get Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, Travel, Zone Reality, MTV Hits, MTV Dance, MTV TWO, VH-1 European, VH-1 Classic, Minimax/A+, Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Hallmark Channel, Spektrum and some more they say.
But I do not know if they will charge some more for Nova sport HD.
From this company you rent equipment you can not buy it and they say that you need to live in Czech rep. to receive the packages from them.
Hope this helps.:)
