NRK Hurtigruten live ship feed

There's a live feed from a cruise ship in Norway. NRK Hurtigruten will be broadcasting 16-22nd June 2011. Not sure if the feed will stay up but at the moment it's 1°W at:

11.461GHz V
SR 3600
FEC 3/4
DVB-S2 QPSK
Pilot off

It may well stay up - the programme is to be a continuous record of the cruise up the west coast for the full 5 days calling in at 30 or so ports..

The signal from the feed disappeared for me around 12:00 noon today. Still broadcasting on NRK2 though.

Well I'm enjoying it too. It was impressive last night watching the midnight sun with what seemed like half of Norway out on their boats sailing along with the cruise ship into the setting sun.

I was amused last night when the ship went under a bridge the feed broke up for a second or two. Initial reaction was, "Oh no, it's not started raining hard again here has it?" Then it dawned on me, the problem wasn't at my end of the transmission...

The ship is now in the far north past Tromsø. For a while the feed was down and the following message scrolling was on the screen on NRK2:
MS Nordnorge er nå i en satellittskygge uten dekning. Dette er et opptak.

Translation:
MS Nordnorge is now in a satellite shadow without coverage. This is a recording.

I guess satellite coverage will start getting a bit dodgy up there with the low elevation and the high mountains to the south.

Feed active again, 24/7 satellite feed HD 1080i, FTA - Thor 0,8W 11552 V 7200 3/4 "NONRK". Very nice landscapes, although boat stays at the mo at harbour in Kjollefjord http://www.nrk.no/sommer/
