I moan a lot about my failing eyesight ...and for once my moaning paid off..
Had a conversation with a customer a few weeks back ...in which I confided that I dont do micro pcb work any longer such as mobile phones ...
Simply because of my ageing eyes ...reduced dexterity etc ..
But mainly the eyes..
He turned up again today ...
Not for another repair ..the TV I fixed is working just fine..
He brought me a gift ..
..and what a gift..
All optics need a damned good clean ...plus I will need to adapt a light source ...
much to service ..but all should be do-able.
A 12v halogen could be made to fit easily enough..
Anyway ...here it is ..
What d'ya think guys ..
..and best of all ...it's freebie..
