Now this is what I call a start to the season :)! May the goal feast continue.
Once Rooney and SCholes are back the front line is looking scary. Not sure about the midfield yet, but...

Never mind, from the top of the PL everything looks good!

And I don't mind if we lose the odd game as long as they continue to play the United way! I haven't had so much fun watching them for a long long time. In the last 2, 3 seasons playing the so called "weaker" teams always had a danger of a draw or even losing, now I don't think so.
It does look like Ruud was slowing the game, I rather have it the way it is now. Full out attacking, and even conceding the odd goal. I can remember times not too long ago where United were always good for 2, 3 goals.

Well I'm glad you can see a bright side to losing RvN, but Saha is showing some class I never credited him for. I'm pretty hopeful now, Wednesdays game was the kind we were having all the chanced in last season and just not scoring.

Phew goal flood almost run dry this afternoon. Good fighting spirit from the wasps though, if they play like this all the time they will not be relegation fodder. Respect!

Good morning T_G

Actually I quite like Man U and manpoo is but a fun name for them. I don't think you'll find me calling anyone scum and in the 'which team do you hate most' thread this is what I said ages ago

Not ignoring the thread but the answer is none particularly. Have 2 or 3 faves and the rest take 'em or leave 'em.

I agree with you about me being exceptional though ... doesn't it show!:)

true, i think this is more or less my position too. if i do take a dislike to a team, it's not the club itself, but the personnel there, ie I hated Doug Ellis at Villa, he was taking the club nowhere, and I firmly believed they should be relegated. But now that Doug's gone, I wish Villa well.

and besides, its easier to hate than like a club sometimes, ie Bayern with the Hargreaves affair, but I do like the club on the whole (just not Uli Hoeness'O'-red).

2 nil against LP side that was supposed to challenge for the title...great game, I thought Fletcher deserves special praise. Game was played in a relative good spirit, the ref let a lot of small things go through.

Liverpool were very poor though, they never got a lot of the ball. I cannot understand why he did not play Crouch from the start, but I don't complain about it :p

It's down to Rafa who hasn't fielded the same team twice running for 96 matches. I remember those days when you knew what the team would be week in week out.

Talking of not starting .....why didn't Reading?
