In the south east its is about 5 degrees above the horizon. If someone has an absolutely ideal clear horizon, it is just about possible to get pics off it. However as its so low that for most people its out of reach due to buildings / trees etc.
I stand corrected I forgot that some people live in the flat lands and have never seen undulating hills or gradients of any kind. Still I'll be OK when the polar ice cap melts unlike the flat lands O-Ha
