PHEONIX APOLLO CI Software Problem

I am trying to load the software to the above receiver.

When switching on receiver to start the download I get the message ' Wrong Format File'.

Thought this may be the length of file name but is not.

Anyone canme across this?2

I'm assuming that you are using the correct file version, correct for your model?

Look I know this may appear to be a dumb ass thing to ask but I have known people forget to unzip and extract the file before trying to load it

Yes have unzipped, works sometimes then stops at about 59% of transfr.

But I thought you were getting wrong format message?

Yes getting it from outset, then try again 59% then stops.

Will try another rx tomorrow.

I would have another look at the website you obtained you firmware from as some stb's like to have the flash rom completely erased before upgrading

What software are you trying to load? What loader are you using? Have you loaded anything onto this reciever before ok? I havnt had a prob with mine before but might be able to help with software updates - I notice you have the ci model - your not trying to download ci mc update are you .. This might cause a problem??

I am using SW off www.phoenixsat.com and eurosat state that it is the latest version.

Yes i am using the CI SW, so who knows !!

Why not try one of the versions from alsat, they look to be more up to date.
