hi ,hope you can help ,

i have a philex dish and set top box in one room ,at the back of the box is a loop out ,i have connected a length of cable to the loop out and then to a pace sky-digibox to my sons tv.
but it says no sat signal.

please could some one shed some light on this for me as he is 5 and wants sat in his room .

Welcome to the forum.

You need to turn the main receiver onto s/by.

The best option is to fit a twin or quad LNb and run a separate cable. Sky digiboxes like a permanent live feed to the dish.

Forget the loop through - the use of it is heavily restrictive.

You will need to run a separate cable from the dish to the secomnd location. If the lnb only has a single outlet you will have to change it for a quad output version.

Another option is to return the Philex box, and have the RF2 output of the Sky box driving the television in your son's room. You can then keep a check/control on what he is watching, and when a five year old should go to sleep.
