phoenix s-mouse/com port help pls

used to be able to connect smouse programmer via serial using cardmaster software and external 12v psu. Now cant get it to connect, .....weird thing now is green light on the programmer lights up when connectd to pc (didnt do that before, always needed 12v to get power). But even with this the software still says that prog is not connected. Is this some kind of problem with power and com ports?? Does this ring a bell with someone?

in theory when i connect prog to pc via serial i shouldnt get a light on (thats why i needed the external 12v in the first place, right?)

Help! Driving me mad!!!!

hi,

i have the same problem. i have a s-mouse programmer and a fun master programmer, i cannot programme my pic card or fun cards,

i have tried lots of different software, put they all say the same, no programmer found.

I have tried both coms ports ?


any ideas
