The old sealant had lost adhesion and came away from the dish in two complete strands (inner and outer).The surfaces to have new sealant applied were cleaned up and dried with a hair dryer at low heat to blow out any moisture that could not be mopped up. New sealant was then applied to the inner and outer surfaces of the rear mounting ring at its join with the dish. Due to the diameter of the dish I had to stand it almost upright to gain working access to the rear mounting ring.I have attached a few pictures below from "ring reseal" day.</blockquote>
