I am totally disappointed: They announced date and prize for this receiver and nothing about duo 2

Disappointed with what ?
Prism Cube will be a great asset to the sat scene and my guess is it may well be the future with xmbc built in and its speed.

The point is this totally different firmware - its not enigma2 so everything is need to be rewritten

i didn't said i don't like it but they accouned vu+ duo2 more than half year ago and now looks like earlier they will release prism cube

btw xmbc i prefer to media boxes not satellite boxes.

These days you have a really wide range of choice but for now 2 cores cpu, 1x esata, 1x gbit lan, wifi and 2x VFD viewer, 3x usb ...................... only Duo 2 will have that

Ultimo 2 will be next.

One thing will be interesting: Will USB 3.0 be added for PVR?

Not all people want to use internal HDDs.

But I don't know if Enigma 2 has got such an option - after we put HDD only by USB and then plug it off then plug to PC just for copy recording stuff and then again go back and plug to usb disk content will be visible after reboot or not .

Matters are not helped by the continued use of "txt speak", despite being repeatedly asked to desist and despite it being one of our Forum Rules.

viz: * Please do not post in CAPS/UPPER CASE and don't use TEXT SPEAK as it isn't search engine friendly and is difficult for members who's first language is not English.

I have tried to Edit some of these Posts of late, to render them more comprehensible, but without much success.

PS: I've had a go at translating the latest effort but got totally stumped by the final paragraph!

The cube was the name of a receiver produced and badged with the Venton name last year. Enigma technology was incorporated within its structure.
