Problem with Starsat 550 D ultra

Hi,

I have Starsat 550 D Ultra and I installed, accidentally, a bad software for which the receiver stacked and it shows (L201) on the its screen but nothing on the TV screen and it keeps restarting itself and never respond to the remote control? Moreover it refuses to get another new software as I tried to install it from the original site!!!

So what to do? is there any means to reset it from the hardware or install some program that fixes the problem??

you should always double check before flashing with any software. I do not know if it is possible to do on that stb but I suspect the only way out of the situation will be to jtag the unit. You will however have to research it and I have seen some information here but the information is circuit board specific but certainly it will give you an idea of what you need to do to recover the situation

But there must be a solution that I can manage, am I right?

Please any other ideas? like some software to reset the system or a powerful installer???
