Rai is testing new HD channels

At this moment, on 13° east, at frequency 11662 V 27500, there are two tests card, named Test2 and Test3, encrypted in Nagravision.

The new HD channels will be probably launched before the end of August.

Rai 2 HD and Rai 3 HD will start broadcasting on 1st September, and then Rai HD will become Rai 1 HD.

I hope they won't delay the launch of these channels.

Forget to see them FTA.
Even the basic SD channels are FTV.

Previously it was in DVB-S.

Both Rai 2 HD and Rai 3 HD appeared for a few seconds, at 3:45 p.m. CEST, according to the italian forum.

At this point nobody knows the precise launch date.

In the meantime, on wednesday, Rai 2 HD and Rai 3 HD appeared on some limited areas of our DTT.

The date of launch of these channels by satellite will be the last day of September.

Test 2 has become Rai 2 HD
and Test 3 has become Rai 3 HD

The new channels have entered into the LCN of the Tivusat receivers.
The Dolby Digital track on Rai 2 HD and Rai 3 HD is now activated.

The channels are on the frequency 11662 V 27500 3/4 DVB S2 8psk.
