I am looking to Baftec firm on a Fortec Star but I think I have to change the remote.
Is there a way of doing it.
Is it just like getting it to work with a different brand of TV where there is a code.

My Satellite Setup
Triple Dragon, Dreambox 8000, Echostar AD3000ip, TBS6522,6925,6983 PCie cards.
Gibertini 1.25m motorised dish driven by the AD3000, with either Inverto BU Quad or Norsat / XMW Ka LNBs . SMW 1.05m + 3 other dishes. Speccy: Promax HD Ranger+

Don't think so. I remember there was a similar problem flashing Fortecs with Pansat patches (or was it vice versa?) in the US, and there was a run on remotes for the converted receivers.

Don't know if there was a fix for the original remote, I've lost the US site now.
