Hello adonis1,

these two frequencies (4120 and 4126) are of course right cirkular.

Hmmm ...
Looks like the reported new channels on Amos might be bogus ?

ERTU
BBC Arabic
AFN
?????
Non of wich flicker the meter on the F15
..and all of which are clone copies of the channels at 1 West ?

I suspect Onacilas report to flysat might have been a mistake ..
??
Anyone get these channels ...or has there been a f*** up

Just rechecking this one, both the logged transponders are below lock to me but I'm also seeing two other carriers that appear to be on 17E but again just below lock or empty. Could someone could check 3975L and 4042R to see if they are anything of interest? Damn, I need a bigger dish! 'O'-red

Going slightly OT onto Ku, Nelson are you still getting Kurdsat on 12393H? Just seen your post so thought I'd try but nothing here. I can't find it listed anywhere so not sure what beam it is on, the Amos site shows three different Ku beams all very close to the UK.

hi - aceb -
no - nothing on that old Kurdsat frequency --
cant realy blindscan properly around 17 east -- some overspill from 16 degrees
and some- thing i.v never noticed before - with my dish - i get a secondary reflection from 19 east - around 17 degrees -- on k/u band
if i track west from a strong 19 east channel i lose the signal briefly - then pick it up again but very weak- only just above lock , most odd -

cheers --

edit --- l.o.l. - there,s an old post about the kurdsat frequency on here too --

This one is still out of reach for me but I blindscanned it this morning using EBS with the trickAPSK option checked and locked a number of transponders as follows

5=3803,V,4293,34,32APSK
6=3821,H,4750,34,32APSK
7=3880,V,2500,34,32APSK
8=3891,H,6877,23,8PSK
9=3955,H,10970,56,16APSK
10=3957,V,15000,34,32APSK
11=4003,H,3208,45,16APSK
12=4049,V,2500,34,32APSK
13=4094,V,15000,23,16APSK

The one I'm interested in is 3891L as it's the only one I can lock when scanning in Crazy or Dream, how does it compare in strength to the four active video transponders, just wondering how far below threshhold they are with me?

Hi Paul..
Not tried to lock data transponders ...but you should be able to lock the Reuters feed ...which isn't always active ...and possibly MTVbase ...which is a constant ..
But both are Time Of Day dependent ..to some extent ..
Try again at various time intervals ..
If memory serves ..evening was best for me.

..or maybe its just the F15 outperforming again ..though Nelson has also locked 'em
good luck m8
