Hi all,

Our work radio Roberts Gemini RD45 decided to do a Tom Daley and fall to the floor off a shelf after being hit by a blind, consequently the radio powers on but no sound through the speaker on all tuners.

Any ideas on how to go about fixing this?

I will attach pictures of the internals at a later time this evening. I'm not electrically minded at all but doesn't seem anything obvious.

Update line out works, headphones out doesn't, speaker doesn't but want to get back fully working if possible.

Possibly some damage around the headphone socket? Don’t know the set, but that usually does the job of disconnecting the speaker when phones plug inserted

Both line out and headphones are together on the rear of the unit, line out works, headphones don't. I have tried the inserting a pair of headphones in and out a few times but no avail.

Then the drop has probably damaged the output stage, deformation of the speaker cone has most likely taken out the main amplifier chip.
