They'll be popular, as they've also cost Manchester United an extra few million on Berbatov. :)

Well, good luck to City, but before going overboard with all the predictions of PL title, Champions league etc, see what happened to Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Aston Villa, etc etc. All these clubs have rich owners with ambitions to be as successful as Manchester United, but it is not as easy as it looks.

It will end in tears, especially when Robinho eventually finds out that there are two teams called Manchester, and he joined the wrong one,or was that Berbatov ?

It will interesting to see what actually happens in January - if they buy another super player, then it's real and City are in with the Big 4.

Lol lol lol :-rofl2

I think he did know, he would have gone to any PL club as long as he could leave Real.
I am not sure it will end in tears, but to try to buy titles with money does not always work as planned - this is the beauty of football. Real Madrid have tried to do it, Chelsea have and even my club spends heavily - but the results are not always as imagined. And when rich owners spend $$$ they demand immediate success. I want to see those clubs when they did not win for a couple of seasons (or more), as happened to traditionally successful clubs such as Arsenal or MU. Will they keep the faith with the manager? Or will they dump him like they dumped the special one?

I for one can't wait for the season and the next one, I know Manchester United have the players and the staff and the experties of running a proper football club, bring it on.

P.S. The one thing that would really really really make me it happen for City is if Peter Kanyon would desert CHelsea for them :p

Wonder what will stop Robinho from putting in a transfer request next summer & crying if they don't sell him.
