Meteor M2-3 is gubbed atm - its interfering with NOAA18 AND its needing a software reset. Ive turned it & NOAA18 off on my system for a few days until they separate again. My reception of that same NOAA19 pass
Now thats a high power signal! NOAA18 overpowering Meteor M2-3 (The left hand narrow line is local interference - these spikes come & go through the day & the middle frequency is the N18 DCS signal on 137.355)
Owing to the position of my antenna this the best that I am going to get.It is 20 foot from the house.the other side of the valley also dos'nt help. This is NOAA 19' 19.15 pass.
I'm getting some new noise problems I've got to track down, the latest pass I got from NOAA 18 was of the Mediterranean area, I don't know why but the CONUS pass was undecipherable.
You can see by all the speckles that it's a bit noise, I might have to track down whats with the new interference, might need a band pass filter.
Thats not possible in your location - you can only get usa images. Id guess there is a time error somewhere. Those speckles are no signal, its not decoding anything just generating the underlying map tiles..
OK kids, I have a problem, it looks like my Malwarebytes program thinks SatDump is infected with some sort of malware, (did this once before) right in the middle of decoding a satellite it stopped, and quarantined the program and the short cut, anyone else???
I don't use malwarebytes but I think that somewhere in setting there may be a white list that you can add satdump to.Just noticed there is an allow list is that any good.
Well I fixed that problem...Now for another one, Meteor M2-3 went right overhead, I didn't see anything (no modulation) on any of the frequency's for that satellite, Pontiend what are your settings for that satellite??
