Satdump software & wxsat reception

Anyone know why I can't get audio with satdump ?

I am a bit lost here.I have M2-4 at 137.900 Mhz lrpt x 72.Because of my restricted view of the sky I do not often get any thing from the Meteors.Just had a look at the scans. This is the scan at 15.28pm.It is one of the Meteors it looks like it could be M2-4.msu_mr_rgb_321_corrected.jpg

Excellent but how do you expand the display like that ? I noticed you get snow at the start like me. Never get this with V2
When you download a photo to the site it asks you what size do you want to post it as, click full image.

I get the snow at first because the antenna is shaded to the North by a very big hill, on the times when the satellite pass starts from the South I don't get the snow.

Yup its M2-4. Either there is a pointing error or there is some weird calibration work going on.

It was a glitch with the pass, the next one was fine

Can you post a screen shot of your settings..

And this is the first pass on M2-4 with the new antenna, looks like it was a polarization problem.

I can almost see my house.

can you tune to a local FM radio station and see if your getting audio there?

If you dont get anything that way the something is not setup right.

You also will not hear anything when looking at the Meteor satellites, only the NOAA satellites, and if you change anything in satdump you might have to re-start the program.

What brand/make of dongle do you have?

Note: I am on the west coast of the USA, so there is an 8 hour time difference from the UK.

Yes I know, I've been decoding wxsats for 8 years actually but only recently tried satdump. I'm using a RTL V3 / rsp1a. If you look at the APT fb group you'll see heeps of my images over the years

Correct ! But I can't think what as everything works otherwise

Well if everything is set right you should hear audio on the NOAA satellites.

Here are my settings.

This is for audio
