I actually think that this has changed the course of Italian football forever, not that I disagree with any of it.I'm glad they won the WC, because I think the national game would have semi-collapsed if they hadn't, and that would have been a terrible loss. The Italian fans can switch-off pretty quickly if they don't like what they see put in front of them on the pitch, but at least they have the WC to buoy national footballing pride.</blockquote>
