Toyota have revealed that Timo Glock's high-speed accident at the German Grand Prix was caused by a part that had been damaged at the preceding British race. Glock crashed heavily on Lap 36 of the Hockenheim event after his TF108 suffered an apparent right-rear suspension failure.Initially the team blamed a rear toelink (trackrod) as the cause of the accident but, after a thorough technical investigation, it has been established that the damage was sustained at Silverstone.
