Sky 2 becomes Sky1 +1 on May 10th
are you telling us that sky2 is a gonner after May 10 ? I would find this hard to believe - please elaborate. Or is it just that one of the "sky2" channels is going to be used for a new "sky1 +1" timeshift ?

I just had a quick look at the listing for Sky 2 on mydigiguide.com and from the 10th the listing seem to mirror Sky 1 but an hour later except for a few differences, like Sky Travel being shown in the early mornings. Perhaps the channel name won't change but the prime time programming will reflect Sky 1 an hour later?

I rather doubt the name will actually change - from what I can gather the programming will change so its more of a a regular timeshift channel apart from some programmes - and the tekleshopping in the morning.

Ive split this off the Channels coming to Sky thread as that thread is not really the right place for a protracted discussion. :)

Great so if we miss the first bit of sh*t on Sky one we can get a second dose of the same sh*t on Sky 2 one hour later :D

Take that to its logical conclusion they could repeat the same programmes every day........No change there then! :)

well, I have several weekly recordings on sky2, I'll have to re-verify all my timer settings. I do think that a sky1 +1 channel is a good idea, I regulary use the +1 channels when I see something I like while zapping around, but to sacrifice sky2's schedule for this ......
