sky and freesat

My Satellite Setup
standard sky plus dish and reviever

i have a sky plus setup and am looking to buy a tv that has freesat built in can anyone tell me if or how i can connect both at the same time? i dont mind using a single connection on the sky plus if this is possible. will be gratefull for any advice given.

You can either use one of the Sky+ feeds for the Freesat TV, or you can provide the correct number of feeds for full overall functionality by running an extra cable(s) from the LNB if it is a Quad Output one with unused ports or, if it's a Twin Output one, it would be best to replace it with a Quad.

As Tivu says, you can borrow one of the feeds from the Sky+, but it would be a great shame, as you will cripple the Sky+ box, with scheduled recordings not always working and the inability to watch one thing and record another.

Run another cable from the LNB, the only workable solution.
