Hi Have just stumbled upon this site after posting on a different forum so wonder if anyone here could help? Are there any Sky experts out there please - I'm having techie problems trying to get Sky wired up to different rooms. I have Sky set up in one room. I don't subscribe, but have the box and a card to receive the free channels. Have successfully rigged up a co-ax cable from RF2 socket in back of Sky box to run upstairs to a bedroom. And managed to get Sky Link set up for this TV so I can change channels. Now I am trying to do the same thing but to a third room/TV. Have got it all set up and it works in the third room and also works here with Sky Link. There is only one RF2 socket in back of Sky box. So to get both extensions (for each room) to plug in I have bought a Y shaped "splitter". But whenever I plug both of these in the TV link in the third room won't work so I can't change channels. Also strangly the picture is not sharp. If I take out the splitter and put one lead back into the RF2 point it works fine again and the picture is sharp and able to use TV link to change the channels. I could of course keep unplugging the lead at back or RF2 depending on which room/TV I want to use but it would be easier to have everything just pluggged in. Is there anything else I can try to get this to work please? Maybe I have bought the wrong type of splitter? It's just one from Wilko's. Many thanks for any help on this.
