Hello,

My Sky HD box is fed by a self-installed Fibo 55 dish with an Invacom LNB. If I wanted to (and I don't yet) upgrade to Sky Q, will the Sky monkey want to rip my current dish off the wall and replace it with a Sky one with the Q LNB on it? I don't want them anywhere near my dishes.

Are there any alternative LNBs, specifically a C120 one, that can be used with Sky Q in its full capacity? Otherwise it would have to be a matter of gaffa taping the LNB to the Fibo.

Still have my Fibo with the Invacom quad, I have just had Sky Q. I just installed a Triax dscr switch in the loft and this will feed two Q boxes plus either two legacy boxes with single tuners or one Sky HD box, all from the Invacom quad. All four outputs from the Invacom must feed the dscr switch though.

If the Q compatible cables are there ready to go, the "engineer" will be more than grateful for the 30mins saved on his round.
Inverto do a 40mm wideband LNB that could be modded with a flange.

What is a Q compatible cable? I have two cables running currently from the dish to the living room.

Sky Q LNB with a flange from an Invacom bodged on to it. Works fine but never used for Sky.

Ah not the best choice of words, I just meant 2 cables connected to a wideband LNB :)

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Go with what Scopus has suggested. Try to find a Johansson switch if you can (I'll try to find the model in a moment).
