I am a sky subscriber with a Sky+ & HD box in the UK. I am moving to Spain in May and I want to still maintain my HD sky set up. I have a basic sky box in Spain which is hooked up to a communal dish.
Questions:

Can I get an HD signal and HD picture quality with a communal set up dish?

Also How can I maintain my full package and HD in the UK if I take the HD sky + box with me to Spain? My student daughters will still be there.
I was considering the "Slingbox media" set up so my daughters can still maintain the sky package in the UK whilst I am watching sky as well.

Your HD box should be fine in Spain, although you'll need a second feed for the recording to work properly, live pause should work OK though.

The slingbox will mean that you and your daughter will have to watch the same channel of course, but it would work providing your broadband connection was fast enough.
