Hi,
I've got a receiver Sky X which cannot boot. I have been reading about it and found that maybe Jtag with Jkeys could be the solution. I have been trying to have one built since I found some files on how to do it.
This Forum seems not to have anything in that line especially on Sky X or SRT 4642. So hoping those who know how to Jtag can help.
Attached are the pix of the Jtag. Can some one with knowledge help please.

Theres a simple Jtag which will sort out most of the problems. I came across a problem which made my X stop booting.
I couldn't find a soltion on time but I knew a crazy gy with an SRT4640 which had a damaged turner. I simply took chips from that to mine and my X2 was p and running as 4642. If you come across this problem let me know I show you which parts you need.
Since then I've been trying to converte that to X2 again. Thanx to slugworth I think I will be on my way soonest! Have you taken a close look at what is in the X2 and SRT4640/2? Heres all the good parts that I think I will be looking at when we hit Jtag mode soon!
