Just bought a SkyStar USB 2 HD CI and got it working in a static dish setup with the supplied DBViewer TE (Technisat Edition) software.

According to the box, the receiver is DISEqC 1.2 compatible.

No mention of DISEqC 1.2 in the manual, so how do I get it working with my Technomate TM-2100A motorised dish?

P.S. Does anyone know how much current the TM-2100A takes and whether the SkyStar USB 2 HD CI can supply it?

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC
My Location
Deep in the Boonies in the central Sierra Nevada mountains of California.
The motor will take about 200 to 300 mA of DC current to run it,(depending on the load on the motor) the Skystar receiver I beleave has an external power supply, this should be able to run the motor, check to see if you have a motor setup in your sat menu.

If as Terryl says the Skystar USB can run the motor, you would be better off using Transedit's Positioner Console for Diseqc 1.2 motor commands.

Transedit is available if you upgrade from the DVBViewer GE edition to DVBViewer Pro, not free but way better as you have access to many apps like Transedit from their member's site.
