so many i-net providers here

here in our area we have mainly large wifi i-net providers, about 10 of them.
they do actually the same, putting a square antena on your roof and run a cable down to a box, normally a router and to your pc.
fine it works.
now we do a bit of card sharing between friends, and some houses it just doesn´t work.
diferent routers, peaple have internet, there is a ethernet connector on the router put pluggin the dreambox and nothing.
normally it works fine but some houses no way.
i dont think its the speed, i think they have a strange way of i-net connection, (maybe dial up)
somebody knows about this?

Its impossible for anyone to help you unless you provide more information about the network infrastructure, which I suspect you don't have.

its sorted, i connected my dream on one of these routers, and it didn´t work, so i tried to use the gemini server to see if i have i-net on the box, but no nothing.
so i went to experts menue, check my ip, and there is a button "connect network" so i do this, and "pling" there is my picture. fine.
