I just feel sorry for the driver of the red car. Not only will he have some psychological trauma to deal with he will no doubt have to pay, or get his insurance to pay, to repair his car.

Nightmare situation - the vandal recovers and makes a claim against the driver.

^^^ ok, valid point. But imo the driver should be somewhat happy with his karma, stopped a criminal, alternative could have been a child running while playing. So for him, one of the "best kinds of accidents" ...if there is such a thing.

..... and the freely available video evidence would not exactly assist the putative claimant.

There are quite a few countries where video evidence (such as from a dash cam) is not admissible. Possibly this country is one of them?

I am not sure if the accident is authentic.
Reminds of a movie where the actor gets hit by a car, similar to this scene.
Vandalism is a petty crime and certainly doesn't deserve the death penalty.

Looks extremely staged to me and in reality the guy does not get hit by the car but rolls over it and off the side, his greatest impact is from landing on the floor and look how ahem adjusts his position immediately upon landing to make it more comfortable for himself nah, bogus

@HB13DISH16

Maybe not, but in many Countries, punishments are generally rather feeble, and so don't act as much of a deterrent.

Strangely it seems to be the allegedly "developed" Countries that function this way.

@Topper

Another give-away is the seemingly relaxed reaction by bystanders and passers-by.

Now, if Dirty Harry had been there ....... :D
