I don't own one myself yet but from the fact that the Dreambox is used all over Europe it must have menu driven output settings. Have you tried looking in the setup menu to see what the sound configuration is? It may well tell you on screen. I have heard of this problem before with a portable set taken to Europe in a caravan and not giving sound when a couple in the next caravan had a more modern set which just auto switched between sound systems and so gave the sound. I have to tell you this is a pure guess on my part, but is the set that is working a lot newer than the set that isn't?</p></blockquote><p></p>
