Spice Platinum

I am considering purchasing a Smartcard for the channel, before i do i'd just like to get some opinions as to whether this is the best xxx Satellite channel to get out of all considering SCT, s_x View TV, and the all the other hardcore channels out there?

Does the channel have a mix of teen/mature/amateur, or is it just the average mature content stars going at it?

I've watched TV X on the astra satellite and its quite tame to say the least. How explicit is this channel and is it value for money at around £120-£130 per year?

Just one more Question- Is Telesierra still broadcasting on HotBird and if so, is it still showing some harder stuff after 12?

Spice Platinum is hard core mature content, they say it is one of the better ones. I'm not too sure about the teen/mature/amateur mix.

As for Telesierra, Yes after 12 it can get a bit Strange.

I think you'll find some good complete packages for hardcore channels on this site and others such as- sateuropa.co.uk. Spice Platinum seems to be a quality channel and they are well established so they're not gonna take your money and run. I haven't seen the channel myself.. by i've searched all over the net for opinions and it definitely seems to be a lot of peoples favourite.

sateuropa.co.uk has a good deal- 80cm dish with Universal LNB, TechniSat digibox and built in viaccess as well as a 12 month smartcard for £239. I think you'll find that this is a very good offer.. considering an official Spice Platinum SmartCard costs between £110-£130 depending on where you purchase it from. With regards to other channels on different satellites.. the best thing to do is do your research through google, where you'll find a lot of links giving you info on what you'll need for hardcore mature content on diff satellites etc, and various costs.

Think i'be been through Laois once. What other FTA 'hardish' mature content channels are available on the Hotbird satellite? I read somewhere that there was an 'instance' with a a woman and a donkey one time on Telesierra.. LOL. Is it really that hardcore?

Yes.....sometimes.

It tends to show some sort of 'phone in' quiz most of the day but after
about midnight (GMT) but not every night it gets very very 'specialist'
in places. Don't know how they've got away with it for so long, but
fair play to them for sticking their necks out. ;)

Do not subscribe to Spice Platinum! I got this channel and although they do show a good variety of mature content, the video quality is appalling. The movies look like they are 3rd generation VHS copies. and it seems to be most of the movies are like this. Nothing wrong with my setup as I have good quality pictures from all other channels.

Really? hmm.. i've been reading a lot of stuff on different forums and no one has mentioned this before? hmm... if this really is the case with poor video image quality then i dunno. Has anyone else been having this problem!?!?

don't know what you're watching chillzoutguy but quality is very high in my view - faultless.

Considering i'm only using a minidish - its actually the only hc channel i can get a consistently good signal of, and the quality is very much top quality.

Thanks for that Womble. Chillzoutguy- you're the only person who has said that and i have done a lot of research into this to make sure im not going to be wasting my money- so maybe it is your setup?

Hi

I work for Spice Platinum and we have two feeds coming in here off of 80cm dishes and the quality is always perfect (bar any usual atmospheric issues).

I would suggest if the picture quality is poor to check your LNB and clean your dish.

i think the problem chillzuotguy is having with spice plat is he has been watching far to much mature content of late. its bad for the eyes. lol. wurzel.

The best channel is the s_x VIEW PLUS. ONLY dont spend your mony on any other channel.
