Hi All

I can't find an appropriate section to post this so I manipulated my question to give it a sporty feel so that I can post it here. Mods please feel free to move it to its rightful place, if there is one.

I am interested to learn more about satellite feeds like the one shown below which I have taken from satelliweb. These feeds normally appear encrypted. Can anyone forward me to right direction in terms of their encryption? links to other sites where i can find more info? You can PM me if you like.

Eutelsat W1 (10.0°E)
Fréquence: 11023 - Pol: H - SR: 7200 - FEC: -
Catégorie: Sport - Tennis
Transmis en: MPEG-2 crypté
Infos: ATP Hamburg(minimuxx, only news in 420)

As ever, Many Thanks in Advance!
With Regards

-Rai

Tghis bit means "forget it"

Transmis en: MPEG-2 crypté

The decryption codes are not generally avaiilable. One or two folks have them but I rather suspect they know the guys on the uplink trucks and get sent the daily codes as required.

Theres an assortment of sports feeds available - including some tennis - in the clear. A few of us log what we find in our very own sports feeds section.

If you look in there most of the regular contributors have posted the equiment they are using as well.

If you are looking to these encrypted feeds to get an advantage in "in event betting" then it will cost you big bucks and knowing the right people. The codes usually change daily and those in the know sell each code for four figure sums.

thanks guys for your replies. I was more interested in watching the England v India test match rather than 'in event betting'.

Well I don't know how far you've explored Satelliweb, but if you go to "Feed Records" the page that opens lists "Sport - Cricket", so you don't have to scour the entire ever changing front page.

PS: I was the other Rai Uno until changing to my current ID .................

Circumstances, dear boy, circumstances !!

Got Banned from Digital Spy for unclear reasons, and as I used the same moniker elsewhere (eg here), I felt a fresh start was in order.
