I was looking for Atlas earlier but there is too much cloud to the north.

Any timing sites for the Starlink visibility ?

Heavens-above is the one I use. There is also a phone app which is useful - and can be set to red "night vision"

Ive seen some of the train on the second pass, but they are faint, and the moonlight took them well below naked eye visibility - easily visible through a scope or binocs though. These little guys move FAST so you need to keep your wits about you - lose your concentration and they have gone :D

Easy naked eye objects this evening - probably mag 3-4 here in the Scottish Borders. Nice to see but a bloody menace to astronomers.

A relatively cloudless evening, but there was too much light pollution around here for a view.

Yes it was still light up here as well, however I had not spotted the very low elevation so it would be hidden behind the hill from where I am in the valley.

Elevation down in London was supposedly 60+ degrees, tonight will be somewhat lower.

And more space junk to clean up when they reach their EOL. As far as what I have heard, the down load speeds are great, it's the upload speeds that suck.

Not terribly power efficient, appears to suck 90W constantly. Still, at least snow shouldn't be an issue.

40 out of 49 of the Starlinks launched last week are doomed to a rapid re-entry :D
