I have problem receiving Infinity TV channel on NileSat 7W, the frequency is 12226, H, 27500, ¾. I tried all type of search fast, slow automatic manual but this channel refuses to be downloaded. My receiver is StarSat SR-X1200D Supper and my dish signal is very strong I also tried to enter V-PID and A-PID hoping that this may help but I could not find any menu to enter these values manually.

I also patched the receiver with latest flash version (flash_SR-X1200D_super-STARSAT_V1.66-2008-12-13.bin) downloaded from www.satsw.com but still not possible to get this channel.

Please help how to get this channel.

Assuming you are actually pointing at Nilesat then apart from an lnb beginning to fail I cannot see any reason for the problem you are experiencing. You are however extremely close to the problem area of frequencies for DECT phones and if you have one it may be worth switching it off at the base station as a quick test. Failing that I would change the lnb as they are cheap as chips these days

I have no problem with NileSat actually I am receiving many other channels, my problem is SR-X1200D does not detect this particular channel "Infinity TV".

To be sure that my dish and lnb are ok I connected my other receiver “Dreambox” to the same cable and all channels are receivable including Infinity TV.

But maybe it is receiving it and you do not see that name. There are a number of parameters from where the channel name is extracted I have an stb which sees one set of names yet if I connect another stb some channel names are different even though they are showing the same content. I think it depends if the name is taken from transmission stream or an ID marker in the transponder. My stb takes it from the stream some do not, perhaps this is what is happening in your case, I really have no other explanation for you.

Thanks Topper

The problem was with the receiver, the Vendor replaced it and every thing is ok now.
