hi all,

I have starsat sr-x3500cuci (neither super nor ultra) and
I want to update it. All that I see on the net is either for
super version or the ultra version. What should I do?
How can I know the flash memory size? (1mb or 2mb)
software version: 2.2.146
hardware version: 6.3.003

Why waste your time? an update will not gain you anything in any case there have not been any software updates for two years see here -http://www.satdw.com/menu.asp

well, I'm trying to give code (key for encrypted channels). It doesn't
allow me to add new idents or index keys, only available idents in its
own list. Thought after update it might have more channels in the indent
column. Is there any way to add new idents into this box manually?

You are wasting your time - theres almost nothing left open on keys these days. DigiTV on 1W is the last big one and that will be going secure very soon.
