Is there somebody can help me? I am new member here and I purchased a receiver model star sat sr-x120d plus. I want to encode new keys for channels but the problem is when i open the encyrption page some of the characters cannot be edited. I do not know why this is happening perhaps the manufacturer make adjustment in software setting. I really do not know exactly. Example if I go to Viaccess and I want to edit codes the format is like this 000000 0- 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 or Conax ------ 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00. Please note that the character - cannot be edited and the value of zero can be changed to the correct character codes. Please help me how to solve this problem.

Thanks,
manofcavite

Dont know much about the conax (and seeing as its just about secure at the moment theres not much point playing with it.. but the first set of digits on the Viacess codes isnt supposed to be edited!

You get
08 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
09 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
0A xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx

etc.

where xx are the actual hex keys.

See here for the examples of the structure of the key sets for Viaccess.
