Tomorrow midday GMT, the phenomenon known as syzygy occurs (love that word, those consonants falling over each other) - the moon, Earth and sun are in perfect alignment.
As the sun sets, a so-called 'supermoon' can be observed, when the moon, at its closest to Earth since 1948, will be fully illuminated by the sun.
Hopefully it's a clear night, but as usual can't be guaranteed in the UK.
