TürkmenÄlem/MonacoSat @ 52°E transponder update

New tp. 10926V 27500 (DVB-S2/8PSK)

Acc.to flysat "East Beam" with some FTA Uzbek channels. However no reception in Istanbul. Probably due to heavy interference from 53E. I wonder about reception reports from illumination area of East Beam for this tp. in Europe and Balkan.
 
The frequency is 10926 H. Indeed you may have interference from a transponder at the edge of 53E Fixed-1 beam, that I can not receive here in NL.
I can receive 10926 H easily on the 1.2 m dish, but not on a small 45 cm dish that gets all other nearby transponders.
It's 1.5 dB weaker than 10887 H.

No problem at all with the new Uzbek channels on 10926H in the Scottish Borders - its very strong.

2 channels showing fta sport yesterday too. (the same Prem game - ManUtd v Newcastle)

Yes indeed, I've meant 10926H. Sorry for my mistyping. I'm strongly suspecting 53E Fixed-1 edge frequencies (data) are the main cause of the problem here at my location as you guess. Lighting up this tp. at 52E is not a good choice as far as I can see, limiting reception at certain locations.

The Scottish Borders are far away from interference zone. You are lucky. Enjoy fta sport dear friend.:D
 
Its a bit ironic that I can get clear reception & I really dont care for live sport much - and many members who would love access to these channels cant get them!
 
10.926H signal strength on my old TM5402 is about 11.5dB

12264V is bobbling around 13.2dB


The interesting one here is the new 11344H 27500 which is only 3.8dB.... and drops in & out of lock. Its supposedly on the east beam, but I doubt that (or its got something interfering with it from an adjacent satellite.)

EDIT - possibly the Belarus transponder on 51.5E - 11350H 45000

Is the Belarus test definitely coming from 52E? Its a fair bit lower in power than the other 52E frequencies (apart from the one suffering the co satellite interference) About 9dB here. About what I would have received from the stronger Belintersat 51.5E transmissions in the past.
 
Here are the frequencies you can find on Belintersat 51.5E; they are from Belarus.
You're right, the test is at 51.5E.
With a small antenna, it's hard to delimit one position from another when only 0.5° separates two neighboring satellites.

What puzzles me:

Another mux, 247Box 11220V, is listed on kingofsat.net, lyngsat.com, 247box as also being on 52E,
but this mux peaks at 50.9E on my laminas1.2 dish (which could be off by a degree or so, but still
tracking the arc).

On the other hand, 11420 V peaks at 51.9E. So either these two muxes are not on the same satellite
or there must be some interference so that for one of them it is better to slightly point to the side of
its satellite.

Ideas?
 
Notification:

Transponder 11420, which was temporarily activated in Turkmenistan, is currently turned off.

Other tests (possibly 11380 or similar frequencies) may also be conducted in the coming days, but will be announced later.

3) Change in the network portfolio of Persiana Media Group

As part of periodic reviews of content policy and with the aim of optimizing the channel portfolio, Persiana Media Group has announced that the channel Persiana Vibe, focused on rap music, will cease operations starting Monday.

Based on this decision, the channel Persiana K-pop will be launched as a replacement; a channel that, focusing on K-pop music and culture, aims to cater to the interests of a broader audience, especially the younger generation.

This change falls within the new policy of Persiana Group to focus more on channels with a large audience and international genres.

The management of Persiana Media Group has stated that continuous evaluation of channel performance, audience reach, and global media trends are among the main criteria in recent decisions.
