2) «Persiana Podcast»; Transfer of Persian podcasts from YouTube to television
Following recent changes in YouTube's policy and the removal or restriction of revenue related to Persian content, the Persiana Media Group has announced that a new channel called Persiana Podcast will be launched within the next two weeks; a channel designed to create a new revenue stream for YouTubers and producers of Persian-language content.
Persiana Podcast will focus on podcasts, talk shows, interviews, and analytical content, providing a platform for digital creators to transfer their content from the solely platform-based YouTube to a television format with a broader audience.
According to the Persiana Media Group, this channel will enable visibility on a scale that surpasses the limitations of platform algorithms and create a new path for revenue based on television broadcasting, advertising, and media partnerships by connecting the podcast ecosystem and online producers with satellite broadcasting and broadcast television.
The management of Persiana has emphasized that the launch of this channel is part of the group's new strategy to respond to global media trends and changing viewing habits; a strategy aimed at redefining the position of podcasts and talk-based programs on Persian-language television and creating an effective connection between independent producers and mainstream media.
Persiana Podcast, as one of the key new projects of this group, will play an active role in shaping the future of conversation-based Persian content and the modern media sector.
3) Change in the network portfolio of Persiana Media Group
As part of periodic reviews of content policy and with the aim of optimizing the channel portfolio, Persiana Media Group has announced that the channel Persiana Vibe, focused on rap music, will cease operations starting Monday.
Based on this decision, the channel Persiana K-pop will be launched as a replacement; a channel that, focusing on K-pop music and culture, aims to cater to the interests of a broader audience, especially the younger generation.
This change falls within the new policy of Persiana Group to focus more on channels with a large audience and international genres.
The management of Persiana Media Group has stated that continuous evaluation of channel performance, audience reach, and global media trends are among the main criteria in recent decisions. The discontinuation of some channels with a small audience and their replacement with new formats is part of this approach.
Persiana Group has emphasized that the goal is to improve content quality, program diversity, and better alignment with the preferences of Persian-speaking viewers both inside and outside the country, and in the future, similar revisions in the structure of the channels will continue.
