TürkmenÄlem/MonacoSat @ 52°E transponder update

They have adjusted the eastern beam a little, so now all of Iran falls under it.

they write:

The signal strength of the transponders of TurkmenÄlem MonacoSat is unique after last night's change and can be received with exceptional strength throughout Iran, from north to south, from east to west, as well as in the neighboring countries and a large part of Europe.

@Analoguesat : Has the reception of these transponders changed at your place now too?
do you know if iranian public channels and tajikistan channels will come to 52east?
thank you

I dont see much change in signal powers here. I do suspect there may have been some beam shuffling though.

10720V is very strong here now so may have moved from east to the west beam.
The Uzbeki mux on 10926H has disappeared completely so its either off, changed parameters which pushes it outside my reception, or on the MENA beam.
Still no sign of 11420V here so that may have gone to MENA as well, or otherwise changed as above.

I cant say for definite as most of my dishes have suffered rather badly in the vicious gales over the winter and the entire system needs a complete overhaul at some point.

other folks observations on especially these 3 muxes very welcome :)

I can confirm that all east beam transponders are now strong in MENA
Specially on the north and the middle of MENA countries
In the south of MENA countries are so weak

In a country just across the sea and with better beer and chocolate, the Uzbeki mux comes in well. For comparison: the orange spectrum is from December, the blue one from today. So about the same levels and quite strong (1.2M dish). Modulation is PSK8 3/4.

11382H has been lit up with Persiana Sports 1 2 & 3 plus 4 other channels. Signal strength isnt brilliant here - about 6dBW compared to the 12dBW of the stronger muxes. (the same as the equally rubbish 11420V)

Regarding 11.382 H 27.500, the following message was received: This transponder is only available until the end of the World Cup, for better signal strength in iran

11.382 H is specifically aimed at Iran, which is why in Western Europe the signal is weaker than the other transponders

The new transponder 11.343 horizontal 5/6 27.500 has been activated on the TurkmenAlam/Monasosat satellite on the "MENA" beam

Persiana continues to broadcast on all current transponders; the new transponder extends coverage to Arab countries.

After the announcement of the launch of a new transponder for Persiana, some users asked whether this transponder will replace the previous ones.

The answer is clear: all current Persiana transponders remain in use unchanged, and the addition of a new transponder in no way means that the previous transponders will be removed or replaced.

This new transponder is exclusively being added to Persiana’s distribution network for Arab countries and large parts of the African continent and has no relation to other active transponders in this cluster.

This transponder can be received in the MENA region (Middle East, South Iran, Iran's southern neighboring countries, and North Africa).

Persiana Media Group always uses multiple transponders on different satellites to improve reception quality and make access easier for viewers. This policy has ensured that viewers in various regions, from Arab countries and the Middle East to Turkey, Europe, and other coverage areas, have access to Persiana channels with the best quality.

Gradually, all Persiana channels will be connected to this transponder one by one, so everyone can watch Persiana.

The addition of a new transponder is just part of Persiana's infrastructure expansion plan, which will lead to greater geographic coverage and improved signal stability for viewers.

The new transponder 11.343 horizontal 5/6 27.500 in the “MENA” beam has been expanded with new channels and now includes the following channels:

Persiana Sports
• Persiana Sports 2
• Persiana Sports 3
• Persiana Sports 4
• Persiana Family
• Persiana Cinema
• Persiana Junior
• Persiana Documentary
• Persiana Teen
• Persiana Reality
• Persiana Iranian
• Persiana Series
• Persiana Music
• Persiana Nostalgia
• Persiana Folk
• Persiana Korea
• Persiana Fight

This transponder is specially set up with the aim of reaching southern Iran and the Arab countries.

They have different plans again, let's see what comes of it.

The Persiana Media Group is launching four new TV channels.

The Persiana Media Group has announced that it will launch four new TV channels; channels that focus on entertainment and specialized content and will officially start on Friday.

These four channels are:
Persiana RAP,
Persiana China,
Persiana Voyage,
Persiana Podcast

each taking a different approach as part of the media group's content offerings.

According to Persiana, Persiana Rap focuses on music, hip-hop, music videos, live performances, and urban culture.

Persiana China offers a different Asian entertainment experience for Farsi-speaking audiences by broadcasting movies, series, TV shows, documentaries, and visual productions from this country.

Meanwhile, Persiana Voyage focuses on the world of travel, tourism, nature, culture, and showcasing world-famous landmarks.

Persiana Podcast will be the first channel in this group to focus on videocasts, conversations, stories, and video programs on various topics.

The Persiana media network has announced that the launch of these four channels is part of the brand development program and the expansion of the network's lineup of specialized channels – a program aimed at catering to the diverse tastes of the audience while providing entertaining and high-quality content.

The unveiling ceremony and the official launch of these four channels will take place on Friday, and from that day on, the audience will already be able to watch the new Persiana channels.

Second note: Don’t confuse this transponder with the horizontal frequency 11383 and the vertical frequency 11420 that were previously active.

Third point: The channels broadcasting on these two transponders are fully tested and experimental (that’s why they are exactly the same) and will change.
