Talksport Channel

Does anyone know if talksport channel (SKY: 235) on 28E is FTA, and if so what transponder its on. I cant find it on there but i know it only runs for a few hours a day.

it is FTA, i was watching it the other day, cant remember the transponder though. ill keep an eye out.

Excellent, i'll make a more aggressive search for it now. I think its on sometime like 6 till 10, so I'll have a look for it then. Let me know if you find it first, thanks.

I know talk sport is a radio channel, I am unaware of a TV channel by that name.

There is definately a TV channel as well it runs from something like 4(maybe 6)pm till 10pm monday to friday, on sky digital its on channel 235. I just cannot find it listed as an FTA or a Scrambled Channel. I'm assuming it has one of those dumb channel number names or something.

Yeah 858 is the radio channel, but they have a live video from the studio for the sports show in the evening, which is also shown on the website:

But like you said, mapping sky to the real world is a problem. Unfortunately they have no support for satellite enthusiasts. I'll probably find its crypted anyway, i know the radio channel is. Its just weird cos its not even listed as a channel on the ses-astra site, not lyngsat or kingofsat!

Just to finish this thread off, i managed to track it down. Its not a channel at all which is why it wasnt comming up, it can be found on Getlucky TV on Eurobird (28.5E) 11222Mhz H 27500 2/3 at various points in the day. Don't quite understand why they didnt just say it was on get lucky rather than saying Talksports now on Channel 235 like it was a separate one, but there ya go!
