Den

In consideration of the fact that the new TM6900 super is now available for £289 and the original TM6900 can be bought new for £249 then I cannot justify paying £200 for a one year old box out of warranty. I am prepared to buy it but not anywhere near your current asking price.

My offer of £85 still stands until midday Friday at which point it is withdrawn as my local dealer receives his consignment of "TM6900 Super" models.

Good luck with your sale and I hope you move it on quickly if I am not the buyer.

I will still give you £85 for it even though I got my "Super" on Friday. However, to be honest the "Super" is rubbish, keep well clear, I am putting mine up for sale and I only got it on Friday.

Make it £180 and I will think about it. I would happily loose a ton in 3 days to get rid of this piece of crap. By the way its still got 363 days warranty left on it.

Absolute pile of shyte, well p1ssed off with "Super"

What's wrong with it?

Very happy with the standard TM6800, had it a few weeks now.

Robbo,

The blind scan does not work correctly and is useless.

1. There is no selection available to select on symbol rates.
2. There is no selection available on frequency ranges
3. It crashes and reboots the receiver before completing the scan.
4. The ethernet port is dead and has no functionality whatsoever.

The only real new features it has over the TM6900 standard model is the eSata connection and the extra USB port. The other claimed new features such as blind scan and ethernet connectivity do not work. Anyone with an original TM6900 should keep it, there is no incentive offered from the new model to upgrade.

They have rushed it to the market without any consideration for their customers. Anyone buying one of these as currently available is a mug, me included. However, I will admit that I dropped a bollix not like some of the other mugs who wont admit their mistake.

Den, hows about £100 for your original TM6900?

Sold the effin thing for £145 just to get rid of it to gombeen at work. He was happy enough even though I told him all the faults, so its bye bye "super"

Now that I am poked up again Den, my offer of a ton for your original TM6900 still stands.
