I've been tinkering with various tuners to drive my motorised dish from my HTPC but never really had a lot of success until now. A big problem with using my Dreambox as the tuner for the motorised dish was that it also acts as the main family receiver with all the rows when I want to grab an elusive feed or testcard at the same time as my daughter wants to watch some reality dross like the "only warts are in Essex" or "Big Bugger"... 
So a work colleague recommended the TeVii DVB-S2 tuner and it works like a dream. I have got it all plugged into my HTPC and I can sit happily with my laptop grabbing feeds and no.1 daughter can learn more about how to be a chav and what they eat etc. Not only that but thanks to the DVBViewer recording service I've really got my home network serving up two 28.2 tuners and the motorised dish around the house. Very handy!
