Hi everyone

Just a quick question. I have a technomate 7655 receiver that I bought about three years ago with 2 viaccess slots and at the time of purchase the guy who sold it to us changed the bottom one into a conax slot by changing the software. Is it possible to change the other viaccess slot into Irdeto with a software patch?

Not such a silly question really indeed a very good one. As at the end of the day we are talking about a chip which is in effect a flash eprom (Electronically programmable read only memory), in theory yes it should be possible, in practice, I am not aware of any software which would allow you to do this but perhaps someone on the forum is.
