Have read some post here and DR.HD F15 seems to be a good DX receiver.
Have an Echostar 3000IP today and are happy with it, but it lacks the spectral monitor and the ability to DVB-S2.
My question to you is this the right receiver for DX and is it more sensitive than my old Echostar?

The plan is to use the C-band from 80 East to 45 West.

Our member Vipersan uses the F15 and he seems quite pleased with it. Hopefully he will see this thread and comment later.

You won't go far wrong with an F15..
An excellent high gain DX receiver..
My only complaints ...only 10000 channel capacity ..but I rarely store radio channels ...so adequate if you use for TV only..
Only capable of storing 64 satellite positions with current firmwares....thats simply not enough if you can cover a sizeable portion of the arc and want C and Ku ..
If you are only using it for Cband it will be more than adequate ...and yes it is more sensitive than your echostar ..plus is S2
good hunting..
