Tivusat want to view stb and change sat from upstairs ???

Hi Guys,

My uncle has bought back from italy a tivusat stb, but he has a problem, where as before he could view old stb in bedroom with magic eye, the new tivusat stb cannot be viewed upstairs, what and where can i buy to solve this problem ??

The easiest way is with a video sender. Be aware the older 2.4GHz versions suffer dreadful interference from wifi units......

No idea these days - mine were about 80 quid although thats a good few years ago.

Why can you no longer view the channels upstairs?

Is it that there is no RF out on the box?

A modulator would fix that, and should also work with an eye. I'm using one with my VM official receiver.

If its the Telesystem box it doesnt have RF output, I bought from Maplin a VIDEO/SCART to RF modulator which effectively gives you an RF output, works fine. Video senders are notoriously prone to interference, especially from microwave ovens in my experience!
